Welfare-Focused Dog Portraits

Studios with bright lights and scary equipment can be overwhelming for most pups. Having been both a handler and photographer in these settings, I have witnessed this firsthand. Photographing your dog in their favorite place, home, or against a simple pop-up backdrop leads to more personal photos and special memories as they are captured doing the things they love the most.

As I merge my worlds of canine behavior consulting and photography, these sessions prioritize your dog's feelings and individuality to make this a stress-free, playful time for everyone. Because these sessions are welfare-focused, there will be no use of aversive tools* in any capacity. If your dog arrives with this equipment, I will have a few options to change into. If guardians are unwilling to switch equipment, our session will be cancelled and a $100 cancellation fee will be charged.

Your dog's stress level is top priority and will be monitored throughout the entire session. If at any point your pup is feeling uncomfortable, we will take a break, shift the composition, or reschedule to a time or place that would be a better fit!

All dogs are welcome! Adjustments can be made as needed to accommodate any behavioral or physical concerns.
